Discussions around the Post-2015 Development Agenda have been grouped around eleven thematic areas. These thematic consultations will help guide thinking on how to include emerging and pressing issues in the post-2015 development agenda and help facilitate both the global online conversation and complement the national consultations. The eleven thematic consultations are:
The UNDG will also facilitate the consultations with academia, media, private sector, employers and trade unions, civil society, and decision makers to discuss thematic and cross-cutting issues in post-2015 global agenda. Several thematic consultations have taken place in 2012, such as the Growth and Employment consultation in Tokyo in May 2012, African Regional Dialogue on Governance in Johannesburg, South Africa in October, as well as various online consultations.
